THE AMAZONS LIVE ACOUSTIC SESSION
RECORDED AT HALDERN POP FESTIVAL, AUGUST 11, 2017.
The Amazons from the UK are one of the most important new rock bands the UK has to offer right now. They were included in the BBC’s “Sound of 2017” and MTV’s “Brand New 2017” lists, they have an amazing live show. It’s really interesting to see a rock band like them to strip down, to show the bones of the song, to listen to “Junk Food Forever” when it’s just played on two acoustic guitars.
We’ve met at 2017’s Haldern Pop Festival, where they would play an intimate gig just an hour after our session.
